The Mermaid Effect’s approach focuses on every swimmer learning basic water competency skills such as floating, holding their breath, treading water, and getting to an exit point. If your child (age 3 and older) hasn’t mastered those steps after 8 sessions, our Learn-to-Swim Guarantee means that we’ll give you up to three extra lessons at no extra cost.
